Went to see my doctor today to be evaluated for ADHD. I was prescribed Adderall XR 20MD
I took my first pill (it’s a once a day drug) about an hour ago. So far so good. I’ve noticed some simple changes. First, I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in focus and concentration. I’ve also noticed some improvement in my speech (I’ve always known that some of my speech problems were ADD related)
I’ll probably be going in later or email my doctor later for a follow up.
I’ve had ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder) since I was very young. I used to take Ritalin until my Grandmother decided that ADHD wasn’t a real condition and took me off medication.

i got it prescribed cause my mom thinks i have ADD, funny thing is i know i dont, so ijust sell it all. take like 60-90 mg’s at once and youl feel energetic, yet very concentrated at the same time. also a little skiddish, but its alot of fun. but you might not be able to sleep for like 18 hours. the reason you lose weight on adderall is the anphetamine in it, anphetamines kill your appetite so you need to remember to eat

The talking and fidjiting, that should slow down and even stop in time. The sleep, I still struggle to sleep, I’ve had to learn to take it when I wake up, so by the time I have to sleep, I’m on the weakest point of the drugs effect.

i tried my first one yesterday 30mg xl and i was up, talking, fidjiting, and i havent slept for 24 hours now, and i only ate 1 bagel but all food seems sick to me for some reason

I obtain this drug illegally, and tried my first 20mg pill today. I didnt eat breakfast or lunch, and just now ate a half of a sandwhich.

20mgs of Adderall …
20mgs of Adderall XR is NOT the highest dosage they can prescribe. There are such things as 30mg Adderall XR, and my dosage is 50mgs or Adderall XR. My gf’s dose is 90mgs of Adderall XR.

i agree..it’s like …
i agree..it’s like your high but very energetic and can still focus, and you don’t get the munchies. I was smoking for about 5 years almost everyday and i gained like 50lbs. go figure. I just started my 30mg XR today and loving it. i think i’m gonna lose the weight and i’m already getting things accomplished

I was diagnosed …
I was diagnosed with ADD-I last summer (at the ripe old age of 31) and have an appointment in just a few hours to meet with my GP. I plan on asking him about starting on meds for the ADD today.
How are your meds working for you now?

i had the 56mg didnt really do anything tho im on the 20 mg adderall xr and only weighing a little over 150 it works pretty good but there gunna need to up the dose pretty soon

nope if your takin adderall XR the highest dosage is 30mg. But i take 30Mg in the morning 10mg in the afternoon, and 60mg of prozac at night. Im Co-Current, means more than one disorder, 3 types of OCD’s, ADHD, and anxiety.

There are a number …
There are a number of drugs “similar” to adderall. Generally they are all just forms of meth/speed.
To my knowledge there are only a couple of none-speed medications for ADHD.

Hope you feel better dude, I take concerta 36mg i think, it helps me focus so much better but i feel so deppresed and zoned out. It sucks, and I get really irratible sometimes. but other than that its helped me pull all my grades up, so hope it helps you too
