Very interesting. As a 25 year-old adult I’m still struggling with similar unexplained fits of anger (although I certainly feel like tearing things up, I obviously as an adult control myself), but I had no idea that it could be related to the ADHD I was diagnosed with as a child (of which symptoms I still have) – or maybe it’s something else like in this case?
Anyway, I’m writing a paper for college on ADHD misdiagnosis. Is it possible to get the date/time/etc that this news story aired?
im glad that they shed light on drug misuse and misdiagnosis. but adhd is no worse than any other mental health problem when it comes to misdiagnosing and misusing medication. every mental illness carries the same risk of this as adhd. i dont see why adhd has to be the scapegoat here. i dont understand WHY people have such a problem with adhd and the medication used to treat it. stimulants are NEVER to be used by ANYONE other than those who need them. same for every other medication.
VERY interesting. I have Lyme, babesia and bartonella and a raging case of ADD, which improves as I’m treated. It’s not a steady upward course for me though. This information give me hope that I’ll regain my abiity to focus and stay on track. I’m going to share it with a Lyme support group. It’s very informative. Thanks!
