Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder. I have it. You’re always really amped up and pumped for anything. A lot of the time I get really cranky and depressed if i’m not actively doing something allllll the time. Biting nails and such could be part of it, trying to keep yourself occupied. It’s easily taken care of with medicine and therapy if you’re really worried about it. But i wish my parents would have just left it alone. I’m on way to many meds for my own good now.

We have taken our 10 yr old son to 4 different psych docs and EVERY single one was more interested in writing a prescription for an adult size dose of Prozac and getting us out the door quickly rather than actually talking to our son and figuring out what diagnosis is correct and what would be the best treatment for him!
Jeff Crisco in Mukwanago is awesome. He specializes in Autism but also works with kids with ADD/ADHD. Or you could try Cornerstone Counseling in Brookfield, they have all sorts of specialists. http://www.cornerstonecounseling.com/locations-staff/brookfield.htm.
A psychologist may be a better choice over a psychiatrist. That’s the way it works these days… the psychologist does the work and the psychiatrist just writes the scripts. Cornerstone has counselors of all types and 3 psychiatrists that mostly prescribe based on the diagnosis of the psychologists.
